Privacy Policy

Shared Bills is a private tool a household uses to track shared bills and who owes what. Only people an account admin has invited can sign in.

What it stores

• From your Google account, when you sign in: your name, your email address and Google's ID for your account. It asks Google for nothing else, and can't see your other Google data.
• When you signed in, and the IP address you signed in from.
• The bills, payments and notes members enter, and a history of who changed what.

How it's used

Only to run the app: to sign you in, link you to your household's account and show members their balances. Members of your account can see the bills, payments and balances in it. Nothing is sold or shared with anyone else, and there are no ads or analytics.

Where it's kept

On a server in Google Cloud in the western US, with backups in Google Cloud Storage. The only cookies are the ones that keep you signed in.

Removing your data

Ask the account owner, or email kc@kevinchambers.com. Bill and payment history is part of the household's shared records, so it may be kept with your name removed.
